New Collection Coming Soon

I am an American artist based in the valley of California, exploring concepts through the means of sculpture and ceramics. My practice contemplates and questions human perspectives. Inspired by the salvific experience of art at a young age, I decided to use art as a means of processing emotion. Since glazing my first ceramic piece twenty-one years ago, I have known that I wanted to pursue art.

I create ceramic works (functional and non-functional) as well as sculptural works (typically an array of different mediums). I enjoy creating various forms by exploration through hand building and wheel thrown clay. On the wheel, I like to explore the integrity of the clay as I push my boundaries in the forms I create. While hand building, I take my time with details and the precision of my angles, cuts, trim-work, and surface decoration. I often create works that contemplate the emotions associated with transformation. My deeply emotional connection to art has fueled my desire to introduce and teach art to children as a means of emotional resilience and transference.
